Construction & Materials
The outer shell is hand-crafted from new, 99.6% pure copper, 1.6mm thick and sourced directly from the mill—never recycled. The inner shell is made from heavy-duty, ¾" thick CoreAcryl, a premium double-skin acrylic that offers exceptional durability, insulation, and an easy-clean surface.
The copper exterior fits precisely into a custom-formed groove beneath the roll top of the CoreAcryl tub. Both shells are supported by a robust steel frame with four height-adjustable foot supports—ideal for leveling on uneven floors and securing the tub firmly in place.
Unlike many two-layer tubs, the inner and outer shells are structurally joined via the support frame, forming a single, unified unit. However, the shells can still be easily separated and reconnected if needed for access during installation or service.
The result is a solid, well-engineered bathtub that combines the warmth and artistry of hand-crafted copper with the strength and performance of modern CoreAcryl construction.
Installation & Maintenance
This tub is exceptionally simple to install. The standard 1.5" drain outlet can connect directly to either a PVC hub fitting or an island floor drain with tailpiece, offering flexibility for various plumbing setups. With no exterior piping or tubing required, the tub can be placed freely anywhere in the room, leaving only its beautiful, sculptural form visible.
An elegant slotted overflow is seamlessly integrated into the tub design and connects internally to the factory-supplied floor drain—no additional pipework is needed. The high-gloss white ‘Firm Touch’ drain stopper adds a clean, minimalist finishing touch that complements the tub’s interior.
The inner shell features a slip-resistant, high-gloss bathing well that is both safe and easy to maintain. Routine cleaning is effortless: a soft cloth and a mild liquid soap are all that’s needed to keep the surface looking like new.
Exterior Finish & Care
The tub’s hand-crafted copper exterior is finished with a deep, dark aged patina that will gradually continue to develop character in your home over time. After completing the patina process, we apply a protective wax treatment to seal and highlight the finish, giving it a subtle, natural sheen.
As the copper ages further, some areas may appear slightly dull or uneven. This is a normal part of the living patina process. If you prefer to maintain the tub’s original appearance, we include a small tin of the same natural wax used during production, along with a soft fiber cloth. A simple wipe and buff will restore the original luster in seconds, preserving the timeless beauty of the tub for years to come.
